I love to photograph all newborns in the first 7-21 days of birth. That's normally the best time to get those adorable newborn style posing and photos. You can book your session as early as 3-6 months of pregnancy how is that possible since you don't know when they will arrive? Message me for additional information.

Newborn | Booking process
Newborn | Preparing for your session
I have noticed how extremely important and helpful it is to keep your baby awake prior to the session.Please plan to bath that morning and full feeding in hour before your arrival. We will also feed again before we start your session. Please bring extra diapers and milk for your baby. I do ask that you bring a pacifier to soothe your baby into the next pose. Even if you do not plan on using the pacifier ever again it does help with getting those sleepy shots and transitioning to the next pose.
Dress baby is a button down onsie or a zip up. This will help undressing them easier without having to wake the newborn up.
Please bring the lotion and baby wipes that you prefer to be used on your newborn.
My studio is a full-service studio. I provide all of the newborn props, newborn outfits, and even gowns for moms to wear if they would like.
For Mom & Dad
Mom and dad, you are a big part of the show. Photographing the connection between you and your baby is one of my all-time favorite things.
Dads: For wardrobe I suggest that you wear a loose-fitting t-shirt. Keep the color neutral such as white black cream or grey. Please iron out any wrinkles. If dad prefers shirtless photos with baby to show the skin to skin contact just as they encourage in the hospital just let me know so I can plan accordingly.
Moms: For wardrobe I suggest that you wear a loose-fitting top. Keep the color neutral such as white black cream or grey. Please iron out any wrinkles. You can also come in comfortable clothes and change when it's time for parent posing. For mom please bring makeup to touch up before your parent portion of the session. Your hands will show in the images so please be sure to have freshly painted nails or no nail Polish at all for your session.
For Siblings
Brother (s): A snug pair of jeans and shirtless are preferred ,please take a few moments to chat with your little guy about this so he feels prepared for the session -though if he prefers not, a tight fitting white, black ,cream or grey t-shirt is fine.
Sister (s): For wardrobe I ask for it to be simple and clean colors such as white, black, cream, or grey. We can always use a matching wrap as a top if you prefer.
Newborn | At your session
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Sessions can last between 2-4 hours. The easiest way to ensure a sleepy baby is the willingness to nurse/bottle feed off and on.
During newborn session We do tend to run out of room between props, wraps and the immediate family members. For this reason, we ask that you do not bring anyone who is not being photographed that day.
It will be at least 80 degrees in the studio, due to this I am dressed for a warm few hours and I suggest that you do the same or bring comfortable cool clothes to change into.
You are more than welcome to relax on my couch (don't worry about falling asleep it happens quite often.) I do recommend bringing 2 cars if siblings are coming. Younger kids tend to get bored and restless. If something does get damaged or broken it will be the responsibility of the parent to cover the damages. I will have to cut the session short if children are running around the studio/house accidents can happen that way. Refunds are not given if the session is cut short due to this.
Newborn | After your session
Proofing Gallery - You will receive a soft proofing gallery from me to select your images! That's correct, here at Captured Moments by Regina I allow my clients select their favorite images. I will then pull those images and start the final editing process.
All our packages come with a downloadable online gallery. These are high resolution images and must be downloaded to a computer. If you don't have access to a computer you may purchase a usb directly through me. You will also receive an emailed print release, unlimited downloads of your final images for family and friends within the 10 days. Additional images are also available for purchase with any package.
